I was thinking about starting back into cards but I was wondering what the age limit of collecting and trading was until it got sorta weird?

:\

I play. I'm 17.
MKX played pokemon and yugioh before he lost his stuff, and I think he's planning on rebuilding. He's 18.
I was talking to my physics teacher (whom I love) who said, in my defense (dreamy!) that he had friends his age that still played the pokemon TCG.

When I go to the comic store near me, I think the youngest person there is 14 or 15 or so.

For me it was 16. That was the age I had to start paying for my own cards, so I just stopped.

Im gonna go with 12, anybody above that is creepy. Either that or just clinging to their childhood as long as possible.

HAY. Neutral

I'm not creepy.
I guess I am a child,
but why say it in such a bad way?
Childhood is an incredible time full of happiness and magic!

It's just that anyone over the age of 12 who does things like this is labeled as a "nerd" because they're very interested in something that isn't "mainstream" for their age group. Which is all, for lack of better word, codswallop.

Mmk. Take back the 13-year-old comment. I guess I was in it till about 15-years-old.. But when I was at the comic store a 40-soemthing-year-old man talked to me about cards. That's borderline creepy. Play as long as you want, just stay in the same generation as you were born with the conversations.

I'm 14 and play football and baseball while thinking about starting cards up what does that make me?

Kid, I was on the wrestling team and dance team while doing this at your age. Don't label yourself, cause you're nothing but yourself. You'll learn that outside of school.

I play cards games like Pokemon and YuGiOh now and I'm 18.. I am so not creepy! Card games are fun and addicting, especially Pokemon. it's so simple, but it takes eons to master.

Oh no, he knows he's weird. He's just not creepy. None of us are. But you should think about what you say. Smile You say not to label and just do whatever you want and then you say it's weird? Well, you're weird for being on the dance team, and if that's not weird, wrestling certainly is. o_o

Grappling partially nude men is definitely more weird on my radar than card games.

You just implied you had a purse. Neutral You lose.
That was also pretty uncool. He lost all his cards when his bag did get stolen. He just didn't have an opportunity to kick their butts.

Point made: some people will judge you, and other people won't, but in the end you can't really care about whether or not people will judge you because you'll be happy doing what you like to do. Life lesson learned.

And here I thought I taught this already? Razz

Maybe he should of wrestled then? Would of got those cards back quickly. Wink
